It can be tightly connected with other glass instruments with the same specifications of ground mouth to ensure the sealing of the device.

Straight adapters are usually made of materials such as high borosilicate glass, which are characterized by high transparency, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and good transparency. It has good chemical stability, can resist the erosion of a variety of chemical substances, and is not easy to react with most experimental reagents, ensuring the accuracy of the experimental results. At the same time, high borosilicate glass also has excellent thermal stability, can withstand large temperature changes, can adapt to different temperature conditions such as high temperature distillation and low temperature condensation in the experiment, and is not easy to break due to sudden temperature changes. Straight adapters have a very low coefficient of thermal expansion, which is about one-third of ordinary glass.
